LMG Wins Audio Visual Contract at Orange County Convention Center, Extending Partnership Past 30-Year Mark

ORLANDO, FL – LMG, a national provider of video, audio, lighting and LED, is proud to announce that they were recently awarded the contract as the onsite, preferred audio-visual partner at the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) in Orlando, Florida.

LMG has been the onsite AV partner at the OCCC since 1998 and has been approved to expand their partnership past the 30-year mark. LMG provides onsite staff and technicians at the OCCC, and the firm’s 160,000-sq.ft. office and warehouse are less than six miles from the convention center.

The Orange County Convention Center brings over 200 events a year to Central Florida, and offers a seven million square foot facility, with 2.1 million square feet of meeting and exhibition space, making it the second largest convention center in the country. Committed to sustainability, the OCCC is the largest convention center in the world to hold a LEED Operations and Maintenance Gold (EBOM) level certification.

Since July 2020, the OCCC is doing “Business Better than Usual,” using their expert knowledge of hosting clean and safe events to successfully welcome nearly 100 conventions, tradeshows and meetings, as well as both consumer and sporting events.

To provide clients with virtual and broadcast event options during the pandemic and beyond, LMG and the OCCC launched the OCCC Executive Studio, a state-of-the-art digital broadcast center for hybrid conventions and tradeshows. The studio allows customers to execute events remotely, while connecting to their audiences, speakers, and presenters through extraordinary audiovisual experiences.

“We are proud of our longstanding partnership with the OCCC, one that began over two decades ago. This new contract will extend our partnership to 30 years, allowing us to continue to offer the latest in state-of-the-art video, audio, lighting and LED event technology as we return to live events while also supporting more virtual and hybrid solutions as well.”
