The SSL Live 550 features 288 mix paths at 96kHz/24-bit 32 x 36 Output Matrix with dedicated processing. It is based on SSL’s new Tempest processing platform, which is built into the console with 64-bit internal processing. The control surface showcases a high resolution, 19″ central touch screen that acts as the hub of the console with tablet style multi-touch gesture control, giving visual feedback and access to system configuration menus and the effects rack.
