LMG Touring hit the road with singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Sufjan Stevens to celebrate the release of his latest album, Carrie & Lowell. Five years after his last album, Stevens took the audience on a journey exploring his childhood, family, depression, loneliness, faith, and rebirth through his music.
LMG provided LED, Lighting and Catalyst Media Servers to make designer, Marc Janowitz’s, unique design become a reality. The LED package consisted of 8 MM LED and custom 8 MM triangle tiles. The design was based around creating a cathedral like appearance, giving the illusion of stained glass windows. In order to accomplish this without the use of masking standard square tiles, LMG’s one-foot triangle tiles were used as a solution to avoid compromising the design.
The lighting package consisted of MAC Vipers, MAC Auras, grandMA 2 Lite console and mirror balls. The MAC Vipers delivered superior light quality, while the MAC Auras provided powerful beams, enhancing the experience of the show.
