Lake County Government

LMG Systems Integration recently designed and installed Lake County’s Board of County Commissioners’ audiovisual systems to improve the quality of technology in support of conducting county business meetings. The Board of Commissioners represent five districts and are both the lawmaking officers and fiscal representatives of the County. The building’s 20-year old audiovisual technology was replaced with new Crestron digital products, to include high definition digital technology for cameras, switching and routing, and digital audio processing.

As the meetings held by the commissioners must be recorded by law, LMG provided a redundant, high definition digital recording solution. The capabilities of this solution feature digitally streams their meetings to its constituents for County government transparency. The newly installed audio system includes microphones positioned on the dais for each commissioner, on two podium locations for the audience, and on a table below the dais. These microphones levels can be automatically controlled through a digital processing system. LMG also switched their older and thicker analog RGBHV routing for digital video switching solution using CAT-5 infrastructure.
