FAQ’S

1st item hidden
Q: What do I need to bring?

We will provide computers running the preferred version of Millumin. You, however, may bring your own laptop (Mac only) with Millumin pre-installed. Our team does not provide technical support for your computer though if you choose this option. If for some reason your personal computer is not working, we will just let you use one of ours. If your laptop encounters any issues during the training, you’ll be able to use one of our provided computers as a backup.

Q: Is this training hands-on?

Yes! We pride ourselves on making our technical training hands-on and inclusive. While there will be moments of demonstration and discussion we pivot dynamically to hands-on and back throughout both days.

Q: What version of Millumin will be used for this training?

The team will always default to using the latest stable version of the software at the time of the training. That means we may not always use the absolute latest revision of the software. Each class will spend time installing the recommended version of the software as one of the group’s first steps.

Q: What are the training hours each day?

The planned schedule for this training is 8AM-5PM with an hour break for lunch usually around 12PM.

Q: What is the class size?

For this training we keep the group size to a maximum of 10.
Q: Can I retake if I don’t pass?

Yes—we provide a second attempt of the written examination scheduled seven days after the original class.

Q: What kind of support is offered after the training?

If you happen to misplace your training materials, we’re happy to provide additional copies upon request. For any future technical questions, we recommend reaching out to the instructional staff via email. Please note that our instructors work full-time in the field when not teaching, so it may take up to two business days to receive a response.
