Reuben Garcia started his career in LMG’s Inventory Control Department, where he was introduced to the Audiovisual industry. With hard work and dedication, he has been able to progress to his current role as Warehouse Technician 6 – Video.
“When I started I had no idea what I was getting myself into,” he explains. “I needed a change in my life and approached LMG for the opportunity to learn in a new industry.”
As Video QC, Reuben work hands-on with projectors and is constantly willing to improve. “As a projectionist, I spend a lot of my time getting projectors show ready.” He adds, “I’m always learning, every time I come to LMG, even if it means learning something again.”
Remembering how far he’s come from his first day at LMG, Reuben makes it a priority to assist new employees. “I’ve been here a long time, so I see a lot of new employees and welcome anyone needing help getting situated in LMG,” states Reuben.
According to Reuben, his proudest achievement at LMG has been his growth. “I’ve gained so much knowledge of gear, how the warehouse functions, how people work, and how to communicate with people,” he explains. “I’m at the point in my career at LMG where I look forward to going to the next level.”
LMG has become a second family for Reuben. “The people I work with and the environment I work in makes it easy for me to come to work, to contribute to everything we do here.” He adds, “I have a lot of good friends and peers, LMG is pretty much my family.”
Reuben attributes his development to the culture he is surround by at work. “It’s a culture of growth, it’s a place you feel comfortable coming to and know that there’s always opportunities to advance, to be better,” states Reuben.
